Custom SG Guitar Body
This guitar body was machined from a slab of cherry wood from a tree that fell down on my parent's property.
Project Details / Background
I largely used the design of an SG style guitar, but had to make some design changes in order to use a bolt-on neck. Additionally, I made some aesthetic choices, in particular the additional carves on the body.
Project Status: As of now, this project is complete. In the future, I may remake the pickup plates to get a better machined finish. Additionally, in the future I may try to make my own guitar necks and eventually replace the one I pulled from a Dean Dime-o-flage.
